A Corkment underlay 2mm can be used in combination with regular Marmoleum to achieve an impact sound reduction of 14dB. First the Corkment should be installed - with the jute side up - at right angles to the same direction as that of the Marmoleum sheet. Wait one day for the adhesive to set. Then install the Marmoleum on top of the Corkment.
