RT42/AFT28 is a PVC-u, ramped top transition profile from the Clip-Top range. Clip-Top reduces the risk of accidents for pedestrian and trolley traffic by providing a safe link between floorcoverings.
RT42 top combined with AFT28 base provides a safe transition between resilient floorcoverings and carpet or carpet tile of 5-6mm height.
When used with carpet, the compressed thickness of the carpet should always be a tight fit to the internal gauge of the combined top/base profile.
Clip-Top bases should always be fitted on top of the resilient floorcovering when used in a ramp configuration.
Ideal for use in department stores, some retail high street shops and hospitals.
